Mayaa — also known as blondewithabomb — is a fan’s dream.

Mayaa shared some of her work insights with us, including how perspective on social interactions, as well as what it takes to balance her “twin.”

Loyalfans: How did you start in the business, and is it different from what you expected?
blondewithabomb/Mayaa: I’ve been camming for over one year, and it was so much better than I was expecting. I met a lot of wonderful people, and I am feeling loved and appreciated. I love putting a smile on everyone’s face!
We all know that being an online content creator is a 24/7 job. How do you keep up with the workflow and demands of today’s industry?
I’m trying to make entertaining content for everyone’s taste. Diversity and being genuine is the key! I have always been appreciated for being natural and friendly.
What are some other things people think are easy about your job but are actually really challenging?
Most people think that we chose the “easy way” working in this industry. In fact, you need to pay attention to everyone’s needs and to remember information about your customers. [You also have] to always create new content and look good on camera. This takes time and effort.
We don’t have a 9-5 job. We are always working in order to make our customers happy, and we must be available most of the time.
What’s your favorite feature on Loyalfans?
I like that there is a feed where new people can spot you. It’s easier to be seen than on other platforms. The support is always available and helpful, responding quickly. And of course, the 80% commission for all the features is great!
Gear and tech wise, what do you think are the most useful things to have when you’re very first starting out?
I think that the lighting has to be good in order to create quality content, and for those who are also doing live streaming a good PTZ camera is very useful.
What’s one thing you do for work that’s “unexpected”…like, no one does this except YOU?
I always remember details about my customers and I get involved in our relationship personally as well, not just for business. People notice these things, and I think that’s the main reason they are coming back and staying around.
What’s your go-to selfcare activity of choice?
Sleeping! Resting is very important in order to look good. As we mainly work with our image, we need to pay attention to our sleep schedule.
Besides working, what’s your favorite pastime or hobby?
I love cooking! Also, I have two dogs and I like going for walks with them.
Working from home can sometimes feel isolating. What do you do to help stave off feelings of loneliness or isolation?
I don’t feel lonely working from home. I keep myself busy creating content, promoting myself on social media, and also streaming. While streaming, there are people I talk to so I’m not really alone.
Having some time off and meeting friends is important now and then to though. We also need a social life.
What’s your sign? Is it an accurate description of you?
I’m a Gemini. I can be the nicest person and then the meanest in a few seconds depending on the attitude of the person I’m with. I always say that my personality is who I am, but my attitude depends on who you are. I am also very impulsive. If I get angry, it’s just for a short time. I never hold grudges, and I’m smiling again in a few minutes.
I think that means having a twin. The “face” I need in any situation pops in without any effort!
