The war ended almost as suddenly as it had begun. Women were in control now. Across the globe, men were forbidden from holding positions of power, ousted from jobs and homes, exiled. Rounded up and taken to camps that sprung up on the edge of every city. Very few escaped capture. What became of these men? You didn't know, but you didn't want to find out. It couldn't be anything good. You were lucky to have slipped away in the night before you could be taken, but you knew you couldn't run forever. You were tired, hungry, and dehydrated when the hunters caught up with you. Too weak to fight back. You were cuffed, gagged, and thrown in the back of a truck where everything went dark. You don't know how long you were out for. But you woke up in a cold, dark cell where she was waiting for you.
