Ridden Through Stone and Dust; Thirty Minutes Under Saddle - 4K
Stone, dust, steep slopes, loose ground, and a pony that still has to carry me through all of it; that is the real pleasure of this outdoor ride. Fully saddled and bridled beneath me, my pony is taken through a long quarry outing under strict reins, whip correction, and constant pressure to keep moving across harsh terrain. I ride in black boots with spurs, brown riding pants, a black top, cap, mirrored aviators, and a long braid, enjoying the landscape, the exertion beneath me, and the fact that every difficult step still has to be taken exactly as I decide.
What makes this clip special is its endurance and atmosphere. For more than thirty minutes, the ride continues through stone and sand, uphill, downhill, and across unforgiving ground, with only brief pauses that serve my comfort, never the pony’s relief. Whenever the whining starts, the reins tighten, the correction sharpens, and the outing continues. Later I use the exhausted body beneath me as a footrest against the rocks, drive my spurs in deeper, and end the scene with filthy soles held proudly to the camera; proof of exactly where I chose to ride and what I expected to endure for me....
