Cold House, Hard Ride: The Staircase Pony Challenge - Full HD
For nearly nineteen minutes, I keep my human pony working through the freezing upper floor of an abandoned, unheated house. The old walls hold the winter cold so thoroughly that he is permitted gloves, knee protection, and two pairs of socks beneath his professional saddle and bridle. Comfort, however, ends there.
I ride in brown leather-seat jodhpurs, black leather riding boots with spurs, a heavy leather jacket, gloves, and a striking black leather cat mask that leaves my eyes fully visible. My long natural-blonde hair falls freely down my back as I guide him through the hallway, demanding forward movement, reverse work, controlled turns, and a faster pace whenever his performance disappoints me.
In the former dining room, the remaining table becomes the centre of a demanding circuit. I drive him around it with sharp rein work, tongue clicks, strict commands, and repeated strokes of my crop. When he collapses, I pull him back into position, discipline him beneath my boots, and make it clear that weakness will not interrupt my ride.
Then comes the real challenge: still seated securely in the saddle, I order him to carry me down the staircase; first forward, then partly in reverse; before climbing all the way back upstairs beneath my weight. After brief boot worship and some deliberately condescending praise, I mount again for one final round of faster riding and hallway gallops.
The session ends with me leading him down the stairs by the reins, because his work is not over yet: our next ride will take place outside in the snow.
