Mars had been looking forward to this date all day—everything was set, outfit on point, mood just right. But when Island Boy shows up at her door, things take an unexpected turn. The moment he sits down next to her.. achoo! One sneeze turns into two, then five, then a full-on nonstop fit.
At first, they both shrug it off. Maybe it’s dust, maybe nerves. But every time Island Boy gets even a little closer to Mars, the sneezing gets worse—louder, more desperate, completely uncontrollable. He tries to play it cool, wiping his nose, insisting he’s fine… but his body says otherwise. Mars scoots closer and instantly another explosive sneeze. It becomes clear pretty quickly: he’s not just having a moment… he’s actually allergic to her.
They try to push through it, the chemistry might be there, but so are the sneezes… constant, unavoidable, and kind of ridiculous. Eventually, between sniffles they admit defeat. The date never even makes it out the door. Island Boy, still sneezing every few seconds, has no choice but to call it and head home. Mars watches him leave, knowing this is one date he definitely won’t forget....
