Alexandria Wu started as an online content creator after she “failed to make it in Hollywood mainstream modeling.” <\/span><\/p>\n

“It was different then what I expected. It\u2019s more accepting, and hygiene and testing is clean,” she told us, which is a good thing!<\/span><\/p>\n

Most people outside the industry have misperceptions about how it *really* is, and \u00a0Alexandria Wu feels this.<\/p>\n

“People think I\u2019m loving the life and making tons of money. It\u2019s really not like that, and we get paid less than those in Hollywood or mainstream fashion. It\u2019s a struggle everyday,” she shares.\u00a0<\/span>But she continues to grind it out, knowing that the long game is the way to success.<\/p>\n

We got the chance to ask Alexandria Wu a few more questions about her work online. Read on for her interesting perspective!<\/p>\n

Loyalfans: How do you keep up with the workflow and demands of today\u2019s industry?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alexandria Wu:<\/strong> I just make content and upload as often as I get my videos edited and try to meet my fans requests. I can\u2019t do everything at once because I\u2019m only one person, but I do upload and talk to [fans] whenever I log on.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Working from home can sometimes feel isolating. What do you do to help stave off feelings of loneliness or isolation?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s not too lonely because I have a partner. Sometimes I go out and there\u2019s people I get talk to on a daily basis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s your favorite feature on Loyalfans?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I like the option of releasing videos whenever with the post later option.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your big online goal?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I just want to be known and rise like those in Hollywood. In other words, make it to stardom.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>What\u2019s one thing you do for work that\u2019s \u201cunexpected\u201d…like, no one does this except YOU?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know if this is unexpected, but I get work in my underwear or unclothed. Not many places allow that.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Who is your peer mentor, inspiration, or someone you just admire or respect in the industry?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have a couple models on Oasis that are supportive made up of producers, model and fans. I do sometimes watch other preview clips to use as inspiration in my own content.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides working, what\u2019s your favorite pastime or hobby?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I enjoy dancing snd being around animals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s your self care activity or down time ritual of choice?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s very stressful and I just take time out of my day to eat and relax and not be on my accounts all day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Is your sign an accurate description of you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m Virgo, and in the Chinese Zodiac I\u2019m a Ram. It does sort of have a curse on me. I am shy and timid at times but can [see an attack coming] if someone tries to hurt me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
